A thick puck of travertine with rounded edges and a surface dotted with small cavities sits at the end of a cylindrical stem of light wood: the Nora low profile travertine pendant light joins turned wood and stone without a visible break, the stem sinking straight into the mass of the travertine.

Once lit, light escapes beneath the travertine disc and draws a concentrated circle on the table or countertop while the wooden stem stays discreet above. Small and low, it acts as a precise point of light rather than a centerpiece, and the stone keeps its own pattern of cavities.
At 15 cm (5.9 in) across and just 5.5 cm (2.2 in) tall, it suits compact spaces and low ceilings: above a nightstand to free up the tabletop, or repeated in a line over a bar, console or long table.
