Long, fine, rigid rattan rods start from a tight point at the top and gradually flare into a slender cone, bound by a braided tie just below the hanging point: the Hydra rattan cone pendant light recalls a tied sheaf of stems or a traditional conical hat.

Once lit, light filters between the rods and draws a striped vertical halo on the surrounding walls. From below, the bulb stays partly visible at the heart of the cone, circled by a rattan ring that closes the base. Tone and rod width vary slightly, a sign of artisanal making.
At 21 cm (8.3 in) across and 38 cm (15 in) tall, it favors height over volume: alone above a nightstand to free the tabletop, or in twos and threes above an entry console.
