A small cylinder of thick jute rope, wound turn after turn around a black steel frame: the Tinos jute rope pendant light is made of a dense, almost raw fiber, with gaps between the turns that let flashes of light through.

Lit, it gives a warm, concentrated light with a tight pattern of shadows on nearby surfaces. The jute keeps its visible fibers and rough grain, more rope than textile, and the black frame adds a workshop touch that keeps it from looking too polished.
At 20 cm (7.9 in) wide, it rarely hangs alone: it is at its best as a pair above a worktop, a trio over an island or long table, or lined up along a hallway.
